Tampa Bay International School

New Partnership Program
Tampa Bay International School is an innovative Spanish immersion school that promotes bilingualism in Spanish and English through an international curriculum rich in arts and culture and a progressive, pluralistic program of Jewish education open to students of all backgrounds. The school's mission is to foster bilingualism, embrace diversity, and inspire children to work for a just and sustainable planet through a program rich in the arts. Priorities include the teaching of social justice — tzedakah and tikkun olam; the promotion of peace — shalom; and the protection of our planet – shmirat ha adamah. With instruction held primarily outdoors, the school draws on the educational philosophies of both Montessori and Reggio Emilia. Low student numbers allow for instruction that is highly individualized, differentiated, and student-driven.

COMMUNITY
Our campers will explore community in every sense: social action, tzedakah, give-back, and community projects are our hallmark!

.

INTEGRITY
Your campers already have it, they'll just give it a name this summer as they learn about honesty and the principles of positive living.

.

COMPASSION
Campers will learn by the example of our staff and each other as they seek to understand others; show sympathy and kindness.

.

TENACITY
Grit and stick-to-it-iveness, determination and persistence--the purpose behind camp challenges and the bedrock of personal growth.

.

COURAGE
Campers draw from a well of bravery as they try new things, go beyond their own expectations, and do the right thing even when it's hard.

.

RESPONSIBILITY
Even our youngest campers will understand duty to self and others, accountability, respect for others and the world as they share the communal camp time.
